Create Your Own Game

5 Components of Fitness

Flipped Lesson-5 Components of Fitness

PE Challenge: Create Your Own PE Game
In groups of 3, you are going to create a brand new game or create a variation of a game that you already know.

You will be creating this game for your class to play the last two weeks of school.  Take into consideration the playing area, the PE supplies, and the number of students in class.

You will use the packet given to your group to write up the game and draw a picture of what the game should look like when played and set up.  The picture can show the whole game, or be multiple pictures showing the different parts of the game.

When you have created your game, your group will teach the game to the class during your designated day the last two weeks of school.  You will receive a separate grade for your game presentation to the class, that rubric will be given to you at a later date.

Keep in mind when creating your game to incorporate the 5 components of fitness, if you need reminders on examples of each component, I have provided to video links for you to access above.

The written part of your challenge is worth 50 points that will be entered into the Skills and Knowledge category in the grade book...remember this is 45% of your PE grade!  The group presentation will also be worth 50 points, so the total project will be worth 100 points.

Enjoy and BE CREATIVE!
